Poland's Toruń to host 2029 European Athletics Indoor Championships

The championships will be held in early March at the Toruń Arena.

European Athletics, the continental governing body for the sport, selected Toruń after reviewing Poland's bid and hearing a final presentation from the Polish delegation in Lausanne, Switzerland, Poland's PAP news agency reported.

Hi, Torun wordt altijd als favoriet stadion gebruikt omdat het zowel indoor als outdoor ahtletiek faciliteiten heeft. Veel plekken hebben alleen indoor of alleen outdoor.
Er hebben zich al verschillende jaren grote athletiekwedstrijden afgespeeld.
Ik kwam er jaren geleden mee in aanraking omdat de dochter van een vriendin er
uitkwam voor Nederland dus big surprise dat zij in Torun kwam.
Zodoende weet ik dat al langer.
