14 oktober 2026

Poland's women's football team beat Belgium 3-2 after extra time in Gdańsk to overturn a first-leg deficit and advance to the second round of the playoffs for next year's World Cup in Brazil.

Belgium had won the first leg 1-0 in Leuven, so the tie was level on aggregate after Poland's victory.

Poland then won the penalty shootout 4-3 to secure its place in the next round.
